Celona Orchestrator provides visibility into private wireless network events that can be referenced for day-to-day network monitoring, deep-dive analysis, and troubleshooting specific occurrences.

Accessing the Events Page

After logging into the Orchestrator:

  1. Navigate to the Events tab in the Sites side navigation menu.

Note: The Events tab is now accessible from all menu sections, including Sites, Edge Clusters, MOXN, Access Points, and SIMs & Devices, providing consistent visibility into events across the platform

  2. Use the time range filter to focus on a specific timeframe. Available options include:

    1. Predefined ranges - Today, Last 1 Hour, Last 24 Hours, and Last 7 Days.

    2. A custom time range of up to 30 days within the last 60 days.

  3. Auto Refresh and Manual Refresh

    1. Auto Refresh: Enabled by default, ensuring the events page automatically updates with the latest data.

    2. Manual Refresh: Users can manually refresh event data at any time by clicking the Refresh button next to the time filter.

    3. Disable Auto Refresh: Click the Disable auto-refresh button to stop automatic updates.

  4. Default View
    By default, the events page:

    1. Displays all the CRITICAL events within the last 24 hours

    2. Sorts events in descending chronological order, starting with the most recent at the top.

  5. Viewing Event Details
Click on any event to view detailed information, which aids in troubleshooting specific occurrences.

  6. Filtering Events
Filters enable precise narrowing of events. Click the Filter By to see the following Event filter options:

    1. Site

    2. Edge Clusters

    3. MOXN (visible only if the Neutral Host is enabled and at least one MOXN cluster is configured for the customer)

    4. Access Points

    5. Device

    6. Event Severity

  7. Filter Details

    1. All filters, except Device, use dropdown menus populated with selectable values.

    2. For Device filters:

      1. Begin typing in the search bar.

      2. A backend call will fetch matching devices based on your input, and a dropdown will display the results.

    3. Event Severity includes the following predefined levels in the dropdown:

      1. INFO, WARN, ERROR, CRITICAL

NOTE: When selecting multiple filters, they are applied using the AND operator for precise results.

  8. Search by Keyword
In addition to predefined filters, select a category that allows searching for events based on specific property values.
    How it Works:

    1. Select a property from the context dropdown (e.g., Action).

    2. Enter the keyword you want to search for (e.g., status).

    3. The search will ignore the case and display all events where the selected property contains the specified value.

    4. Users can add multiple keywords to the filter by clicking the + Add icon.
