Purpose
This test is intended to validate device-level support for the Gateway - Route Management/ Supernetting features of the Celona platform.
Test infrastructure
• Celona network w/ (1) AP
• UE under test
• Device(s) attached to UE under test w/ available network service(s)
Test characteristics
This test involves the following parameters and/ or variables (in addition to those described in the General Test Details and Characteristics)
Recorded Data
In addition to the information described in the General Test Details and Characteristics article, the following information is recorded:
Ping the native IP address(es) of device(s) attached “behind” the UE (Success/ Failure)
Connection attempt to network service(s) using the native IP address(es) of device(s) attached “behind” the UE (Success/ Failure)
Procedure
Disable NAT on UE under test.
Configure an appropriate route in the Gateway - Route Management section of theCSO Device Details page of the UE under test.
Ping the native IP address of the device(s) attached “behind” the UE under test. Connect to a real or simulated network service (e.g., HTTP, RTSP, SSH)
