IP Domains are used in Celona Private Mobile networks to provide integration with your existing network. When set to use ‘External’ DHCP servers, devices on the private mobile network can be assigned static IP addresses.

The MAC address used in the DHCP request is auto-generated using the following parameters.

First 3 octets are Celona’s OUID, the second 3 octets are derived from the IMSI number of the SIM.

For example; a device with the IMSI ‘315010999902672’ will show as

B4:15:7E:90:26:72

Use the auto-generated MAC addresses as the host identifier for static reservations in your DHCP server.
